Pastor Harold brings an abundance of life experience, as well as education, to his roles of site pastor at The Village Norristown and support & recovery/ teaching pastor for Celebrate the Journey. His life experience, growing up in inner city Philadelphia, gives him a unique ability to minister to the unchurched and those dealing with life controlling issues of all sorts. When he accepted the call of God to turn those experiences into ministry, Harold first received an associate’s degree in Human Development and a certification in Addictions Counseling from Philadelphia Community College. He continued his education at Drexel University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, then completed a master’s program in Human Services and Community Development from Capella University. Finally, after serving 12 years as a licensed district pastor at The Village, Harold completed a course of ministerial studies at Nazarene Bible College and was ordained a pastor in the Nazarene Church in 2018. Harold says, "Serving God and His people has been rewarding beyond words... just to see lives transformed and sanctified by the love and grace of Jesus Christ."
Harold has been married for 17 years to his wife, Pasha, who is a physician. They have one child, Rachel Grace, who is 14 years old. They credit their family's involvement in the church as being a major factor in strengthening their marriage and parenting their daughter in the midst of meeting the demands of their challenging careers.
