Children’s Ministry at the Village is a place where kids can come and explore God’s story and learn how to apply these truths in everyday life. We strive to provide a high energy delivery of God’s Word, engaging for kids ages Birth-6th Grade. We believe that children are a vital part of the body of Christ, and we offer programming for kids during all of our weekend services.
We have some exciting children’s events coming up! Our Easter Egg Hunt is happening on March 31st from 10AM – 1PM. This summer we will host our Splash Fest (1st – 6th grade) and Gata Camp (4yrs to entering K) July 9th -13th from 9AM – noon each day. Come check us out!!
Birth - Kindergarten
Starting in our preschool ministry, we have a program entitled Tiny Town This is a place where your preschoolers and kindergarteners can come and learn about God in ways that will apply to them! Using puppets, worship with motions, playtime and small group time, your children will be introduced to God’s love as we help them understand the foundations of faith.
1st - 4th Grade
As your kids get older, they will be introduced to Kids In The Village. We want our kids to build meaningful relationships with their peers as they walk through their faith together. We will provide a time of play using technology, card games, foursquare and fun activities. We will then move into a large group time where we will have interactive worship, skits, games and an introduction to the lesson. From this large group time they then dive into the Bible & their age appropriate small groups led by their small group leaders. These groups will allows kids to ask the tough questions that will mold & shape their faith.
5th - 6th Grade
When kids enter into the fifth and sixth grade, they will join us in a ministry designed specifically for preteens. This is an age where kids are trying to figure out who they are in a world that is ever-changing around them. The 5th & 6th Grade Ministry will be a place that gives preteens a safe environment to explore themselves as well as the God who made them. Run similarly to both our Middle School and High School ministries, we provide kids with the opportunity to hang out with their peers, come together for a time of worship and lessons, and then split into gender and age specific small groups to dig through the confusing questions of faith and being a preteen.
