The Village Norristown is located at 329 East Main Street, Norristown.  The goal of our compassionate ministry center is to bring the message of the Living Christ to the people of Norristown and equip them with the tools to build a better life. We are dedicated to building strong, positive relationships and working together with the community. One channel we have opened to implement a solid foundation at The Village Norristown is our After-School Program, which began in January 2016. This program includes after school tutoring and various activities for underprivileged children. Another positive channel we use is our Celebrate the Journey ministry. This ministry is a recovery/support ministry that meets on Friday nights at 6:45 p.m. (This is a separate CTJ ministry from The Village Fairview.) Another channel we have implemented is a Single Mothers Ministry which offers a support network, parenting skills, a financial education program, continuing education information and much more! In the near future, we will also begin looking at other programs for children, youth and adults.

Sponsor a Child!

Most of us live a blessed life of abundance, but just down the road there are children who are living in extreme poverty. For $25 per month you can provide a child with daily nutritious food, school supplies & educational materials to use in the After-School Program, and will also provide enriching summer activities. You will receive a photo of your child, and because of the proximity to Norristown, we would encourage you to build a relationship with the child by sending them notes and visiting them at The Village Norristown After-School Program. For more information contact Megan Brooks at megan.brooks@fvcn.org or 610-277-2205.

Celebrate The Journey

The Village Norristown Celebrate the Journey ministry is a separate CTJ from Fairview, and takes place on Wednesday evenings.

WORSHIP • SUPPORT • GROWTH

Come relax and worship in a casual setting every Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. We CELEBRATE God’s hope and healing in our lives during our Worship & Teaching. We CONNECT with others in small groups as we CARE for one another during a healing time of acceptance and community, covering all topics ranging from support and recovery to emotional and spiritual growth.

Why attend?

Everyone has parts of their lives that need healing from past hurts or current hang ups. Some of our groups address specific needs; others are designed to allow each one of us to bring our unique challenges to a safe place where we can find support and hope. Each group is strictly confidential and is led by trained leaders with similar life experiences. Men and women meet in separate groups.
