Assistant Director for The Village Norristown (TVN)
OVERVIEW:
The Assistant Director plays a hands-on, relational role at The Village Norristown, supporting families, students, and staff throughout our after-school and summer programs. This person serves as a key liaison to TVN families — offering translation (must be proficient in Spanish), communication, and connection to community resources — while also helping lead daily program operations, from classroom support to occasional discipline and covering for the Director when needed. Beyond the building, the Assistant Director represents TVN in the community, building relationships with sponsors and supporting fundraising and outreach events. This is a part-time role (about 16 hours/week, Monday–Thursday) requiring in-person presence during program hours, with one monthly leadership meeting held virtually in the evening.

Events & Partnerships Coordinator for The Village Norristown
OVERVIEW:
The Events and Partnerships Coordinator will help advance the mission of The Village Norristown by cultivating Christ-centered partnerships and developing sustainable financial support. This role combines relationship-building with strategic fundraising efforts to ensure the long-term health and impact of the ministry. We are seeking someone who sees raising support as ministry — inviting others to participate in what God is doing through giving. This is a part-time position that is community-facing. There may be occasional in-office meetings with the flexibility to handle administrative work remotely.

Internships
OVERVIEW:
We are looking for Summer Interns in Children's Ministry, Youth Ministry, Media & Worship Ministry, and with The Village Norristown Compassionate Ministry. If you are selected, this internship will stretch you and provide you with a very real experience in as aspects of ministry. We will have a lot of fun, but also work very hard and focus on the assigned tasks. As you go through this process please be in prayer over it, and be prepared to come in with an open mind and willing spirit for what you will learn over the summer. If you are interested please fill out the Summer Internship Application and Pastor Jon Gerlach will arrange meetings with you to discuss the process as we move forward in selecting the team for the summer!

KIDS IN THE VILLAGE EARLY LEARNING CENTER
OVERVIEW
We have immediate openings for:
- Infant/toddler room assistant
- Summer camp counselor
- Afternoon caregivers (2:00-5:45)
- Childcare floater
The staff at Kids in the Village Early Learning Center believe that every child is a uniquely created gift from God. We are founded on the premise that all children in our care will be loved, nurtured, and educated in an atmosphere where Christ is honored. Our classrooms are developmentally appropriate, where children are accepted and celebrated at each area of their development: physical, social, emotional, educational, and spiritual.
QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARY
Our staff is a team of caring, qualified, and experienced Early Childhood Educators. Our program places emphasis on continuing each employee's professional development so they can better serve the children in our care.
Caregivers are required to have a minimum of a Child Development Associate Credential OR 2+ years' experience providing care for infants and/or young children. Non-familial experience is required. Applicants must have a personal relationship with Christ, be physically fit, and be nurturing and able to work within a team.
