Lent is a period of forty days lasting from Ash Wednesday to Holy Saturday. It is traditionally understood as a time of fasting and repentance; commemorating Jesus' fasting in the wilderness, which anticipated the beginning of his public ministry. During the season of Lent, we learn to rely on Christ for all our deepest needs.
Join us this Lenten season in our Four-fold Journey that engages us to point others to Christ, and draw closer to Him ourselves.
- Select a person or persons that you will invite to Easter services.
- Set your cell phone alarm for 7:02 AM and 7:02 PM to pray for the person/persons.
- Select the same meal time every week that you will fast, and ask Jesus to reveal and heal your own brokenness.
- Read the daily Lenten scripture readings, A Journey to the Cross.
