Fairview Village is sending two teams in 2024 to build a new church building in Cerro Cama, in partnership with Pastor Jose and our friends from the El Progresso Church. The first trip will be February 17-25, 2024 and will include the start of construction, medical clinics, and a Vacation Bible School. Work & Witness Team Updates
From 2017 - 2020, Fairview Village sent five teams to work on the reconstruction and expansion of a Child Development Center to increase their capacity and improve the conditions.
- El Progreso is a church outside of Panama City, serving the community for 30 years.
- They have planted five churches from this location, and wanted to expand part of their facility into a two story addition, to increase their ministry to the community.
- During these trips the teams added a second floor, and remodeled the classrooms, kitchen, and bathrooms on the first floor.
- A basic medical clinic with pharmacy was held for several days at different locations.
- Vacation Bible School was delivered during most of the trips, both on-site and remotely.
- Backpacks, school supplies, Spanish language Bibles and "Shoes That Grow" were distributed by the teams during their visits.
- Great friendships were made through the multiple trips team members had made over these five trips.
